Background:

This vision has long been in the heart of Founder, Derek J. Lovett.  The team is extremely excited to see the fruits of it manifest in the lives of Montgomery Public School students. 

 

Having a professional background in engineering as well as serving both as a math and science teacher, Derek has a unique perspective on helping students grasp math concepts in a way that helps them build a strong foundation for STEM success.  In addition to the math instruction that will be available at the academy, he is also calling on STEM professionals and other members of the community to come together and empower our students with the wisdom and knowledge they need to be successful in school and in life.
